1. The above results  have been approved by the Board at its meeting held on 17th January,2004.
           
2. Generation of power at hydro electrical plants is seasonal in nature.
           
3. Other income includes receipts of rebates on prepayment of certain loans amounting to Rs. 357 Lakh and Rs.419 Lakh (net of prepayment premium)  for the quarter and the nine months ended 31st December, 2003  respectively.
